BATAM TAXIS Batam Taxis are located all across the island and there are several taxi companies All the ferry terminals, the airport, all the major hotels & resorts, golf courses and shopping centers have taxi stands with taxi service available at most times. The taxis are modern vehicles with air-con and CB radio. Batam has not yet introduced taxi meters to all taxis, so you will need to check the price with the driver before departing and negotiate if required.
