LEARN INDONESIAN NUMBERS AND AMOUNTS

Learn Indonesian numbers and amounts are quite simple. Numbers from 11 to 19 are comprised of the numbers 1 to 9 plus the suffix belas. Numbers after that are counted with the suffix of 10, puluh. Sepuluh is 10, duapuluh is 20 and so on until the hundreds, when the suffix ratus is used.



So seratus is 100, duaratus is 200 and so on. Ribu is the suffix for thousands, and juta is the suffix for millions. Written numbers in Indonesian and English are the same, so you can write 1, 2 , 3 etc and it will be recognized by Indonesians.
